Thank you for your interest in Blue Ridge Pizza Company! We provide wood-fired pizza featuring locally sourced ingredients for private events.  Please browse the information below and contact us with any questions.  

The Oven
We have 2 mobile wood-fired ovens, imported directly from Italy. Our fancy oven sits on the back of a pull behind trailer and is 100% wood-fired! She bakes about 10 - 13 pizzas at a time in less than 2 minutes. We guarantee that your guests will enjoy 'the show'! 

Pizza Party Pricing
This pricing is based on 2 hours of buffet service.  We can set the buffet up next to the truck so your guests can see the pizzas being made, or, we can bring pizzas inside to a buffet as long as we can park close enough to the venue.

Please understand that this pricing is not for full service catering! If you are in need of set up and breakdown please inquire for pricing.

Selection of 4 wood-fired pizza (2 meat & 2 veggie)- $17/person
Seasonal salad & pizza- $20/person
Seasonal salad, pizza and locally made hand pies- $25/person

*Booking for Friday night must meet a $1000 (food) minimum during peak season (March - June/September - October)

*Bookings for Saturday night must meet at $2000 (food) minimum during peak season (March - June/September-October)

20% service fee and 10.3% tax .Travel fees may apply based on your location.

  • The service fee helps cover cost of doing business. So while the catering contract will show a breakdown of event elements, the service fee helps cover the cost of hours needed to prep and plan your event.

Aside of our awesome wood-fired pizza we can also provide appetizers for your cocktail hour as well! If this is something you might be interested please let us know and we can forward you the options we have along with pricing.

What's Included?
Our pricing includes disposable plates, napkins, forks and knives.  We provide an 8' table with a linen for pizza service.  You are also welcome to provide rentals and we can help you with needs & quantities.  

Staffing

Based on 2 hour service time:

*3 staff (required) will be onsite for every event. 2 kitchen staff and 1 buffet table staff member. The kitchen staff members will be added to your contract at 4 hours (not including travel time to venue, if applicable) in the amount of $15.00hr. The buffet table staff member will be complementary.

If you need additional staff for set-up, clean-up, clearing dishes, serving drinks, etc. we can provide that for and additional fee at the minimum of 5hrs of service (not including travel time).

Bartenders- $22.50 per hour

Servers- $22.50 per hour

Tastings
If you haven't tried our pizza before, we are always happy to make you a complimentary pie or two at any public event.  Please let us know ahead of time which event you will be attending so we come prepared appropriately! If you are looking to do a private tasting the cost is $100. In the event you move forward in booking our services, the tasting will be credited back to your contract price.

Reserving A Date
If you decide you would like to book Blue Ridge Pizza Co. (awesome!) we will send you a proposal to review.  In order to reserve the date, we require a signed copy of our proposal and 25% non-refundable deposit.

Final Numbers & Payment
Final guest numbers are due 14 days prior to your event, along with menu choices, headcount, and final payment. Please ensure that your final guest count includes all vendors (minus BRPCO staff) as well! We want to be sure the people who helped make your day special are fed as well =) We will send you an invoice at that time with all finalizations. Please remember, guest count must not drop more than 80% of the original proposal number!

 

~FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS~

 

Q. What time do you typically show up to a event?

A. We show up for set up about 1hr prior to service time. It takes us about 20mins to set up everything we need to get rolling. If you need us to come onsite sooner, plans must be made in advance and fees will apply!

Q. What do you need from us for your set up?

A. We come with everything needed for every event, no need to worry about us =) We have a generator for the items that are in need of electricity.

Q. How do you all typically serve?

A. We serve buffet style. When hired, you will have us for 2hrs of constant pizza service. The pizza choices you make prior to the event will be made fresh and cooked right on site, in a matter of seconds (70 seconds to be exact). 

Q. What is your set up like?

A. We supply an 8ft table for the buffet. The pizza's are displayed on cast iron skillets to keep them warm, each labeled with every ingredient so your guests know exactly what they are eating. 

Q. Do you have any Vegan options?

A. Absolutely! We can customize any pizza for anyone! If you have someone who has any dietary restrictions we ask to let us know ahead of time, so we come prepared.

Q. How big our your pizzas?

A. Our pizza's are typically about 12in wide. For events, they are cut into 8 slices. 

Q. How does your buffet style work for a wedding?

A. Our head person will be in contact with either your event coordinator or DJ the day of the event. We ask that guests are called up by table numbers as to not flood the table. First is the bride and groom, second is family, third would be the bridal party, then each table will be called by number (or however the set up is for the tables). We find this method to be the best as it gives each guest time to read each label for the chosen pizzas.
